CARTOONS BY
ALL PICTURES REMAIN THE COPYRIGHT OF BUNNY DUFFY
Bunny Duffy is a talented artist whose work is gaining reputation as a skilful and humorous portrayal of our nearest and dearest family members.... our pets. |
Bunnys work is usually in inks but she does do some work in soft pencil. She uses photographs and anecdotes from owners to give her an insight into a pets character and then works straight on the final illustration, amazingly she rarely needs to do preparatory sketches. |
You can comission your own
cartoon original of your pet, drawn by Bunny from your
own photos.Or as in this case titled Loppy Lugs an illustration for a childs book about a puppy whose ears wouldn't stand up. |
![]() Bunnys sense of humour and observations of the animal world lead to some enchanting pictures that capture not only the spirit of the animal she draws but a unique emotional quality that is so instantly recognisable in ourselves as well as in our pets. |
| Below is one of
Bunny's most recent comissions of Rus the Collie and one
of the photographs supplied by Rus's owner for the
comission. Needless to say Rus's obsession is more for
balls than sheep. The
illustrations are done in inks rather than watercolour,
in life this gives them a brig |
| Pictures are 10 x 14 inches and an original will cost £20.00 plus postage and packaging which for the UK including recorded delivery will cost an additional £2.50 For larger comissions please contact Bunny direct for prices. | Bunny was raised
with pretty well every animal imaginable - a right old
menagerie, She writes
"Animals are still a major part of my life and since
I was little I can remember being amazed by nature -
There were always animals around, and injured waifs and
strays - so animals have always been a very important
part of my life. I couldn't be without dogs though. Bunny's dogs Flea and Brick Flea was sadly put to sleep earlier this year at a young age due to a progressive wasting disease. A dog in a million whose life was too short but who lives on in all those who knew her. |
