CONSTRUCTION:
The kennels have lined concrete foundations preventing damp or humidity from rising through the floor. The interior sleeping quarters are surfaced with a superior rubber flooring instead of the traditional concrete. This provides a non slip surface as well as being easily disinfected it also provides extra comfort as dogs need never lie on a hard concrete floor. The walls are cement rendered externally to provide weatherproofing and fully lined internally for insulation then tiled for maximum insulation and protection. Tiling provides a good hygienic easily cleaned surface impervious to dirt and bacteria. The roof is insulated to provide protection from both the heat and the cold, with a tongue and groove boarded interior finish for a pleasant cosy atmosphere. Each kennel has two individually controlled points for overhead heat lamps. Allowing flexibility in positioning and total control over each dogs heating. Runs are slabbed with a central gravel section, complete with post for those dogs who prefer to lift their leg. |

| SITUATION:
The kennels are situated approximately 30 metres from the house for complete supervision. They are set in approximately two acres of grounds with an extensive lawn and mature trees immediately in front, with a small copse beyond. Surrounding the kennel boundary is farmland in all directions. The grounds are managed to provide a natural reserve to both wildlife and nature. |

The copse is of self seeded oaks and the grassland is managed to maintain the naturally occurring population of orchids and other wild flowers. Bird life includes buzzards, owls jays, woodpeckers and a myriad of seed feeders. HEALTH POLICY:
